Eddie "Wah" Karch The late and highly revered musician . A nice bloke, a highly talented, experienced and knowledgable fellow who enriched the lives of so many around the Wakefield music scene. Rest in Peace Eddie.

Brian Glover "The Don" of the Bradford Rock'n'Roll Mafia! A deserved inclusion to the HoF for his tireless work looking after the bands and pubs in West Yorkshire, and for the invaluable advice he gives on sound and lighting to new bands!

Julie with Husband H of The Lion. One of the hardest working publicans in the business, Julie has transformed the Lion in Castleford  to a thriving rock venue. Julie ,we salute you!

Tracey, Head Cook and Gig Researcher at RotN. Looks after Steve and Joe Pastrami, ensuring clean underwear and black T shirts are available at all times. Nominated by Brian Glover.

Les Thompson of The Boot and Shoe. Massive rock fan and genial host who just loves promoting music at his brilliant venue. Ex roadie and friend of the stars. Top bloke and very well liked by both punters and bands.

Pete Goodfellow of Shield of Steel has been nominated by quite a few individuals and we think they are right. Pete has done all sorts of things to help the live rock scene, from performing with his band to helping bands get gigs.

Captains of Rock of the North's Conventions Dave of Gun Law and Ady of Flyz make it to the Hall of Fame. This is due to their hard work on the rock scene and making the Rock of the North Convention a blazing success. Apart from this they are top musicians  on the Northern Rock Scene and great lads.

The brilliant all-round good guy Tony Bianco on his Tokai Jazz bass. Known in the trade as "Italian Tony" he really knows his stuff.  Tony made a name for himself in the PLC band. Nominated by Graham Charman.

Pixie Lee Malia of Bring Me The Horizon is a worthy inductee of the HoF and has just celebrated winning The Best British newcomer award at the Kerrang! awards ceremony. To put cream on top the band have also won the Rock Sounds Best Newcomer award. This Yorkshire lad also played with Phoenix 2.Pixie Lee is a great guitar player!

Marcus of Mr Chief has been nominated by Blackout for his timely help in rescuing the band after a disastrous time with PA matters. Marcus is probably the most knowledgeable soundman in RotNdom. Bloody good guitarist as well!

Ian "Agnes" Miles, of Riff Raff and Angabart. One of the top characters on the RotN scene. Nutty on occasions, but with a devastating guitar style, Ian's a star!

Bill Nelson couldn't possibly be left out of the RotN Hall of Fame. This "Wakey" lad is never far from the thoughts of the older RotN fans for his early pub gigs to being seen on Top of the Pops. His Leeds Grand Theatre performance recording Live in the Air Age in 1977 is legendary.

"Gravedigger" Bri Featherstone is included for his work  for the good of Barnsley Hospice.  Nominated by Julie Mr Chief.

Mo Pickles ,The elder statesman of Rock of the North and leader of the fantastic No Quarter! Nominated by us (who are embarrassed he's not been in here from the start!)

Gav Coulson, nominated by Pete Goodfellow, included in the H.o.F. for his immense musical ability and being an all round good guy. A "signed" artist and JHS Artist Liaison Manager, he's been around a long time on the semi pro scene and is a friend of the stars. BIG stars!

Graham Hollings, drummer of Export, nominated for his efforts organising the Lions Easter Rally .

Baz Roffey alias Harry Coffey was nominated by many including RotN for his work in front of a microphone and behind the scenes. Baz is massively experienced, a great performer and a great bloke.

Chantel McGregor still in her very early twenties has been nominated for her incredible talent and charming demeanour. Chantel plays in the style of everyone's heroes and still has lots more to give.

 

Helen and Dave Taylor of Resurgence are well deserved of being in this esteemed company for a few reasons. For going the extra mile to help others is just one of them. A great couple who we are proud to have as friends.

Steve Saville and wife Angie working to make the Thornhill Arms a top venue! A good couple worthy of this page. This venue would have been lost without Steve's hard work.

Producer of the RotN to the Core CD, Tim Gillespie is a very worthy inductee of the RotN Hall of Fame for his massive efforts with the CD and for his drumming exploits on the RotN scene. A top lad now playing in Telegram Sam!

Steve "Motormouth" Wilson aka Rock God is nominated by Tony of Cas for services to local rock!  I'll second that. With Optic Nerve Steve has pleased local AC/DC fans for years.

Shane Haigh nominated by Stuart Kershaw. AKA The String Surgeon, Shane is quite possibly the very best guitar player in the whole of RotNdom. Witness his solo on Hope, not to mention his guitar building skills.

Lynn and Howard of the Cross Keys, Morley were nominated by The Old Git Mav for services to the Morley live music scene. That's good enough for us! (Apologies for small pic)

Coz McCossins has been nominated by the members of Invisible Idols for his great production work on their CD. Coz leads Go Kommando and is a great favourite of other bands and fans alike. A top bloke indeed!

Showtec's Phil Munt has been nominated by both Graham Hollings and Rob Day. Phil's a helpful fellow all the time and is a great lighting/sound engineer . We totally endorse Phil's nomination. Nice shirt Phil!

The HoF welcomes Col Challinor who was nominated by us, and seconded by Gill Rhodes, Steve Horsfall, and El Bangero. A very popular induction and for very good reason and that is Col is a top bloke, truly excellent bass player, and who recorded and produced If You Love Me for our RotN to the Core CD. Some people are just plain talented, and Col is one of them.

Liam Godfrey of Shameless has recently been nominated for the Hall of Fame. Liam has quickly come to prominence for his brilliant performances with Shameless but also for offering the rock community exceptional value rehearsal facilities at his Black Flag Studios in Castleford.

Kev Hopkinson of Styckleback has been nominated by our correspondent Mav and seconded by The Head Cook for  his hard work  promoting and continually upgrading the Styckleback stage show to the excellent status it is now. A fine fellow indeed and very highly respected by us even though he does eat all my trifles! A very worthy inductee.

Aarren Mowle of Break Out and Splash Alley and Angel of Sin has earned a place in the Hall of Fame for his great achievement in co organising the Frontier Rocks concert which was the biggest fund raiser of 2010 for the RotN to the Core Campaign, and for his general entertainment on the rock scene locally. Aarren contributes quality playing and vocals week in,week out.
