This image is derived from an advertisement in Melody Maker circa 1975-6.The advertisement was for Rotosound Guitar Strings that Bill must have used around that prolific time of his career. The grainy newspaper image was manipulated at the same year by taking a screen bromide from the original. The image was found tucked inside a plastic LP sleeve holding a copy of Be Bop Deluxe's Live In The Air Age album.
